Overview
Launch Forge Dev is a developer-focused marketplace that connects clients with developers for technical projects, freelance work, and software-related services. By creating an account, using the platform, posting a job, submitting a proposal, completing verification, sending messages, or interacting with other users, you agree to these Terms and Policies.
Launch Forge Dev provides tools for client profiles, developer profiles, job postings, job feeds, matchmaking, proposals, chat, reviews, Trust Scores, face/liveness verification, reports, disputes, notifications, and admin messages. Launch Forge Dev is a platform that connects users. Unless clearly stated otherwise, Launch Forge Dev is not an employer, employee, agent, partner, representative, or joint venture of any user.
Eligibility & Accounts
Users must be legally allowed to use the platform and enter agreements. Unless Launch Forge Dev creates a legally compliant minor-user program, users must be at least 18 years old. Users must provide accurate information, keep login details secure, and not create fake, duplicate, fraudulent, or misleading accounts.
Launch Forge Dev may allow users to sign up without email verification during the MVP stage. Skipping email verification does not mean a user's identity is confirmed. Face verification and admin review may be used as the main trust layer.
Developer Profiles
Developers may create profiles showing their skills, portfolio, experience, rates, availability, profile photo, bio, Trust Score, verification status, badges, and reviews. Developers must not claim fake skills, use stolen portfolio work, copy another person's work, submit misleading proposals, manipulate reviews, or use fake identities.
Client Profiles & Jobs
Clients may create profiles, post jobs, receive proposals, shortlist developers, chat with developers, and leave reviews. Clients must not post fake jobs, scam jobs, illegal work, malware requests, phishing requests, hacking requests, copyright-infringing requests, stolen-data requests, or jobs created only to collect personal information.
Client jobs may include a title, description, required skills, budget, timeline, urgency, location, remote preference, milestones, and attachments. Launch Forge Dev may review, remove, pause, restrict, or investigate jobs that appear suspicious or violate policy.
Job Feed & Matchmaking
During the early stage of Launch Forge Dev, every eligible open client job may appear in every developer's job feed. Matchmaking ranks jobs but does not hide lower-scoring jobs unless a job is paused, removed, restricted, or blocked by admin. Best matches may appear higher, while lower matches remain available lower in the feed.
Launch Forge Dev may calculate Match Scores using skills, budget compatibility, availability, experience, Trust Score, job freshness, location compatibility, and remote-work compatibility. Match Scores are estimates only. They do not guarantee hiring, quality, safety, payment, or project success.
Proposals
Developers may submit proposals with a message, price, price breakdown, timeline, milestones, attachments, portfolio links, and related details. Proposals must be honest and submitted in good faith. Launch Forge Dev may limit proposals to prevent spam, automation abuse, irrelevant applications, harassment, and platform manipulation.
Chat & Messaging
Launch Forge Dev may provide chat and messaging tools. Users must not use chat to threaten, harass, spam, scam, distribute malware, steal credentials, send illegal content, or abuse other users. Chat may unlock after a client shortlists or accepts a proposal. Launch Forge Dev may review reported communications when necessary for safety, dispute handling, policy enforcement, or legal compliance.
Launch Forge Dev admins may send direct messages, warnings, verification updates, dispute updates, account notices, safety notices, and platform announcements. Essential legal, safety, dispute, verification, and account notices may not be disabled.
Face & Liveness Verification
Launch Forge Dev may use face and liveness verification to reduce fake accounts, impersonation, duplicate abuse, and platform fraud. Verification may include camera access, selfie capture, face presence detection, liveness challenges, blink checks, head movement, smile checks, anti-spoof checks, risk flags, and admin review. Verification does not guarantee that a user is honest, safe, skilled, or reliable.
If Launch Forge Dev collects or processes biometric identifiers, biometric information, face geometry, or face templates, Launch Forge Dev should provide legally required notice, obtain legally required consent, explain the purpose, limit collection, restrict access, protect the data, and follow a clear retention and deletion policy. Launch Forge Dev should not sell biometric information.
Trust Score
Launch Forge Dev may assign users a Trust Score from 0 to 100. New users may start at 50. Trust Score may increase from face verification, phone verification, completed jobs, positive reviews, fast response behavior, low cancellation rates, and professional conduct. Trust Score may decrease from confirmed scam reports, lost disputes, repeated cancellations, spam proposals, fake portfolios, abuse, suspicious activity, or verification fraud.
Trust Score is not a credit score, background check, identity guarantee, safety guarantee, or guarantee of payment. Major penalties should not be based only on one unverified report. Admins may review Trust Score history and adjust scores with a recorded reason.
Reviews
Users may leave reviews after eligible jobs or completed work. Reviews must be based on real experiences. Users may not buy fake reviews, sell fake reviews, review themselves, threaten users for positive reviews, post knowingly false claims, or manipulate ratings. Launch Forge Dev may remove reviews that violate policy.
Reports & Disputes
Users may report scams, non-payment, poor delivery, fake profiles, fake portfolios, harassment, spam, impersonation, suspicious behavior, or other abuse. Users may upload evidence such as screenshots, files, messages, or descriptions. Launch Forge Dev may review reports, request more evidence, issue warnings, adjust Trust Scores, restrict accounts, suspend users, ban users, remove content, or close disputes. Launch Forge Dev does not guarantee a specific dispute outcome and is not a court, law firm, or government agency.
Payments
Launch Forge Dev may initially operate without integrated payments. Users may arrange payments externally. Unless clearly stated otherwise, Launch Forge Dev does not hold funds, provide escrow, guarantee payment, guarantee refunds, or control external payment providers. Users are responsible for agreeing on payment terms, using lawful payment methods, keeping records, and handling taxes.
Launch Forge Dev may add monetization later, including featured jobs, developer promotions, boosted visibility, subscriptions, affiliate programs, platform fees, escrow, or payment features. Paid promotion must not directly buy Trust Score, and promotions should be clearly labeled.
Content & Intellectual Property
Users may upload profile information, portfolio content, job descriptions, proposals, messages, reviews, images, files, and dispute evidence. Users keep ownership of content they legally own, but grant Launch Forge Dev a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate the platform, provide services, protect users, and comply with law.
Users may not upload content they do not have rights to use. Users may not steal portfolio work, copy another developer's project, impersonate another person, post illegal content, or use Launch Forge Dev for fraud.
Launch Forge Dev's brand, logo, interface, software, platform design, code, written materials, and original content may be protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, reproduce, or commercially exploit Launch Forge Dev materials without permission, except where allowed by law.
Prohibited Use
Users may not use Launch Forge Dev for scams, fraud, phishing, credential theft, malware, ransomware, unauthorized hacking, stolen data, identity theft, illegal surveillance, copyright piracy, harassment, threats, fake reviews, fake jobs, fake portfolios, spam, verification bypass, duplicate abuse, money laundering, or illegal goods or services.
Launch Forge Dev may warn, restrict, suspend, or ban accounts for policy violations, fraud, scams, abuse, repeated violations, verification fraud, security threats, or legal requirements. Serious violations may lead to immediate action. Where appropriate, Launch Forge Dev may provide notice, reasons, or appeal options.
Disclaimers
Launch Forge Dev does not guarantee jobs, income, proposals, applicants, hiring, payment, refunds, project quality, project completion, identity accuracy, Match Score accuracy, Trust Score accuracy, or continuous platform availability. Users must use their own judgment when working with others.
Launch Forge Dev is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Launch Forge Dev is not responsible for user conduct, external payments, failed projects, lost opportunities, third-party services, user-generated content, or unauthorized activity except where the law requires otherwise.

Launch Forge Dev may collect account information such as name, email, phone number, password-related authentication data, role, profile photo, bio, skills, experience, rates, availability, location, company, portfolio, jobs, proposals, applications, saved jobs, ignored jobs, reviews, ratings, messages, files, support requests, admin communications, reports, disputes, evidence, moderation actions, Trust Score history, verification status, risk flags, IP address, device information, browser information, session information, login activity, and security events.
How We Use Information
Launch Forge Dev may use information to create accounts, authenticate users, operate profiles, display jobs, rank jobs, calculate Match Scores, process proposals, enable messaging, send notifications, calculate Trust Scores, conduct verification, prevent fraud, detect spam, investigate reports, handle disputes, moderate content, protect users, improve platform performance, and comply with legal obligations.
Some information may be visible to other users or the public, including name, profile photo, bio, skills, portfolio, reviews, badges, verification status, Trust Score, and public job information. Users should not place sensitive personal information in public profile fields.
Private messages are not intended to be publicly visible. Launch Forge Dev may access or process messages when reasonably necessary to deliver messages, investigate reports, prevent fraud, respond to safety concerns, enforce policies, or comply with law. Launch Forge Dev should not claim private messages are end-to-end encrypted unless that technology is actually implemented.
Sharing & Disclosure
Launch Forge Dev may share information with service providers such as hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, storage providers, security providers, analytics providers, and verification providers where used. Launch Forge Dev may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights, to investigate fraud, to address security threats, or to protect users.
Launch Forge Dev does not sell personal information simply because a user creates an account. If Launch Forge Dev later engages in activity legally defined as selling or sharing personal information, applicable notices and opt-out rights should be provided.
Security & Retention
Launch Forge Dev may use security safeguards such as authentication controls, role-based access, protected admin routes, database security rules, session controls, rate limiting, audit logs, file validation, and access restrictions. No system is completely secure, and Launch Forge Dev cannot guarantee absolute security.
Launch Forge Dev may retain information as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts, provide services, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security, enforce policies, and meet legal obligations. Verification and biometric-related information should follow a specific retention schedule required by law and platform policy. Raw face verification media should be deleted when it is no longer reasonably necessary or when legally required.
Users may request account deletion through available platform controls or official support channels. Some information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement records.
Your Rights & Children
Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, limit, object to, or request information about certain personal data processing. Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction.
Launch Forge Dev is not intended for children under 13. Unless a specific legally compliant program is created, Launch Forge Dev accounts are intended for users 18 or older. Launch Forge Dev does not knowingly seek to collect children's personal information contrary to applicable law.
Launch Forge Dev may use third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, security, and verification. Third-party services may process information according to their own terms and privacy obligations.
Community Guidelines
Users may not harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, discriminate against, exploit, or intimidate other users. Users may not post hate, sexually harassing content, violent threats, or targeted abuse. Users must communicate professionally and honestly.
Users must not request or provide illegal technical work, including unauthorized hacking, malware, ransomware, phishing systems, credential theft, stolen account access, illegal surveillance, destructive attacks, or unauthorized data theft.
Users must report responsibly. False reports, retaliatory reports, coordinated reporting attacks, and fabricated evidence are prohibited.
Verification integrity must be protected. Users may not use another person for verification, use prerecorded media to deceive verification, manipulate liveness checks, submit fraudulent identity evidence, or attempt to bypass verification systems.
Enforcement & Changes
Possible enforcement actions include no action, content removal, warning, feature restriction, Trust Score adjustment, temporary suspension, permanent ban, job removal, profile removal, or dispute closure.
Launch Forge Dev may update these Terms and Policies from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through platform notices, admin messages, website notices, or other reasonable methods. Continued use after changes may mean acceptance where allowed by law.
Questions, privacy requests, account issues, verification concerns, or legal questions may be submitted through the official Launch Forge Dev support or contact channel displayed on the platform.
